"Creativity is a wild mind and a disciplined eye" - Dorothy Parker

The duality of the creative mind is a gift and a curse. Safe to say at this point in my life how necessary it is to have the skills to balance the primary functions of the left and the right hemispheres. However, it is my experience that ‘BALANCE’ in our modern age somehow always leans toward and puts value the analysis and the quantitative. Being a business owner. Being a Father. Being a husband. Being a contributing member of the greater good. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy and value all aforementioned aspects of my life but when I’m my best is when the constructs of convention begin to break down and I have the time means and resources to bring absolutely abstract dreams to life. A wild mind and a disciplined eye

Titles can be confining. I have designed apparel. I have been in bands. I have created art. I have made short films. I have gone 165 mph on a motorcycle. I’ve helped make two beautiful children. Ive rescued a guide and a sunken dirt bike from the bottom of a river in the Vietnamese Jungle. Later sat shoulder to shoulder with them by a fire to get warm and relive the story. I’ve laughed with Tibetan monks and cried when I decided to get sober after years of alcohol misuse. At the end of the day, I am truly a wild mind with a disciplined eye. I care deeply about being and being the best I can. My gift is innate. I can imagine and materialize quickly and there’s nothing more that makes me feel as fulfilled. I’d love to apply those gifts to the endeavors that make you feel fulfilled.
